they wouldnt show the Croatian fan on ESPN2 here in the states. They didn't want to give him 15 seconds of fame :rolleyes: Does anybody have a vid of that?

The only thing I know is that the Croatian fan was banned from the world cup... although, from what I've read, he had not bought tickets anyway :p
TV Globo used its exclusive camera and the whole Brazilian territory saw him making the v sign and blowing kisses to the crowd :D |

im pretty sure if some crazy fan by running into the field stopped a sure go ahead goal play to mess up your team or even stabbed a player it woudnt be to fun huh....
totally diff. sport but
rember that crazy guy who ran into the leader of the marathon at the greek 2004 Olympic games and the runner wound up finishing 2nd or 3rd i forget cause of that wackos fault.
And if someone is gonna run into the field it better be some hot chick :D |

Brazilian television showed him during the whole time he was in the field and when he was being escorted by the security :) That's why I'm always saying he looked like a really anxious and playful underaged lad: we could clearly see that he was shaken.
