so this is the deal......
poor carl has no musica in his automobile... and for everybody who knows, a drunkin monkey just can't survive without some EDM. in fact if you can try visualizing the drunkin monkey in a car every day without any source of EDM after seeing him out on the dancefloor.... well it's enough to make u cry
in fact diddo goes for if YOU"RE in that car. he (we) must all be saved from the dave fm
he also happens to be a decent fella, so the 317 are planning a fun b-day prezzie in the way of a car cd deck. we've all pitched and r a little short (some 70$)
if your feelin' the idea and u want it this is an invitation to pitch on this bday prezzie. reallity is many spend $$$ on a beer or two but hopefully that cd deck is gift that keeps on giving. oh yes
anywho if you would like to pitch on the cause (save the monkey) post or pm me, (with an amount $5 - $10 - or $20 nothing over 20, carl isn't that nice) and when all the money is accounted for i'll do the leg work of collecting it, or at the house party this sat, or pr, or something. i'll work it out. (won't be collecting the money if there isn't even called in cuz i don't feel like chasing people to give it back! if it doesn't work out)
his b-day celebration is next friday on some boat party, which is when i;d like to pressent him the gift and the card w/ everyones name on it.
BOO YAH! bring in that $5 beer money! and wish him a happy bday

Sorry, I vote no. Cale only has a tape deck in his car - that doesn't work, no antenna - therefore no radio, his iPod Trip broke - so no iPod through the speakers, and his speakers are ed to and make crackling noises even IF you can find a terrible radio station.
Not to mention we live 3 hours apart from each other and see each other every weekend...not to mention his trips to Toronto or Waterloo and regular everyday driving. He has NO music at all...no sound...at all.
Sorry dude, I have no sympathy. Suck it up or pay for your own stuff. |

I do know Carl, though not as well as I know many of the other TAs. But I agree with you Lauren. A lot of people aren't going to want to chip in for someone's birthday present they don't even know. Especially if they don't know them in person, or have only met him a few times.
Sorry dude, I don't know you well enough to be chipping in to buy you a bday present.
I say go around and ask his personal friends, or said private PMs to people you know actually know him. |
