ESPN sure invested a lot in giving this sport more exposure here in the U.S. It can only be a positive when the italy-us game gained a rating of 5million on a saturday afternoon on espn (not counting the ratings on univision). It can only be a positive step and a promisin direction of the sport's image here in the US. |

Thereīs no Anti-American sentiment. We all love football and appreciate it when we see people playing in the streets, in the barrio, in the deserts, in the stadiums, everywhere. Itīs all about the beautiful sport that brings nations together to compete. To think that some just watch certain games to hate on certain teams is ridiculous. It is football and we love it.
A rose by any other name is still as beautiful people. Itīs no different with soccer, itīs still football. |
