I thought it was pretty cool that the kids headphones were working soaking wet in the shower.
hacker-proof AND water-proof |
don't even get me started with a Da Vinci virus that could speak, had awesome graphical interface (sort of like WinAmp visualizer - hey, here's an idea). Oh, and not to even mention things like school firesprinkler system being hooked to computers. And tons more.
I loved the soundrack. That was my actual first intro to "trance".
Hackers is a guilty pleasure - it's soooo bad that it's actually LOL'ably good. Like the main hacker insisting on being called "Plague". CerealKiller, ZeroCool, AcidBurn, etc.
Oh, and let's not forget the first instance of 'Crasher kids - e.g. the cyberpunks. C'mon - it made internet cool before everyone and their grandmother started claiming they are L33T h@x0rz after getting their free month of AOL that came on a disk that was included with everything you bought or didn't buy.
And idea of Angelina Joile being a cyber-geek gave us, true geeks, a nice stiff woodie (and drop of false hope). :) |

c'mon taco bell and sandra bullock sex scene were LOL! oh, and the scene with 3 sea shells, stalone being a knitting pro, and "Oscar Meyer" and "Jolly Green Giant" jingles - classic! Not to mention Dennis Leary's rant "I want to run around the city naked, smoking my cigarette, eating lots of salty foods and ting happy happy thoughts" (or smth like that).
Let's not forget the fact that that movie made a near-accurate prediction: Arnold Presidential Library (well, guvernatorial) and if these folks have it their way, he just might get a presidential library:

that was a funny movie, imho. it was never meant to be thought-provoking. just straight-up light-hearted look at sports. Rob Schneider's comments were quite entertaining as well.
I thought that the Adam Sandler's version of "The longest yard" was the funniest football movie of all times (except it sucked that Chris Rock got the caretaker's role and subsequent fate). |
