ummmmm helloooo?? YEA!!!

Upon going to Burton store & examining bindings, fr0st & I both agree that Salomon bindings feel a lot plusher and look more comfortable... then again, the top of the line wasn't even in the store yet. I am going to try to find some '06 Salomons cheaper with the cat strap, hopefully women's but most likely men's.

I love the Burton L2 jacket for women as well as the 2/1 jacket. Depending on colors I will be getting either one of those and a Gore-Tex pant from them.

hah yeah half their isn't in the stores yet. i hope you guys picked up a catalog though.

was thinking of doing custom with the cartels this year... i still love my boots from 06

and maybe i'll get another pair of pants at some point :)

We go on trips each season..

I tell you this much..come winter time no more going out...that means friday night most of us are in bed by 8-9PM. We are usually up and on the rode around 4-5am and out to on the mountain to get the early runs in.

I think it's good if we set some groups of people who are willing to do this each week. We need drivers with cars and groups to get together etc. I'm already locked up in a car with 3 friends, we made it a rule that if 3 of the friends bought the rack for his car.

As for long week trips, I think Killington or Okemo is a good trip to do as a group.

So far in my sights, this is what i see for me..

December - Xmas - NYE - California (Big Bear, Snow Summit, or Mamouth) NYE in LA for Giant Party.
End of Jan - Killington for 1 week
March - Lake Tahoe or Whistler

haha unlike brian i don't sleep that early nor do i get that much sleep before getting on the road at 7 and hitting up a place usually by 10 am. however, i do get my time on the slopes in.

this year i think...

killington or one of the VT resorts for thanksgiving.
early to mid december whistler or maybe park city
late december (to kill off the rest of my vaca days), i will stay close to ny, maybe camelback. or just go to VT again.

linX, change the thread title, it's 2007, not 2006 season :)

yo sal maybe bliss, frost, and I can join in on the turkey weekend fun in VT? Is it even snowing then...we've been having really poor winters here in the NE so I'm not entirely sure we can hit it up like that.

i know i said i'm boycotting camelback this year but there doesn't seem like anything within driving range (1-2hr max) that will accomodate us with a nice sized mountain other than camelback. I took a look at Jack Frost, Shawnee, and Blue and they all have under 20-25 trails. Anyone have any suggestions? The catskills are a bit aways though and I'm definitely not doing Hunter. Windham or Belleayre look "ok" but that's well over 2+ hr drive.

haha i don't know about snow but i think they opened up around november 10 last year, so if there're trails open, then why da frick not. it'd be a good warmup for my december trip.

don't like hunter at all. camelback feels closer, and i don't like the trails they have at hunter. i know my cousin likes belleayre but i've never tried it.
