Dumb Question...Is possible to rent a Digital SLR?

A friend has asked me to help with her fashion portfolio.
:nervous:
I think I should rent one out, because using a regular point and shoot would just take longer and cause more problems [i.e. using no flash = potiental blur, nightshots would be crap e.tc. e.t.c]
I do have a tripod..but still.

| Go to FS/Best Buy, once there choose a camera to your liking. You will then buy it, use it and return it within 2 weeks. Total cost should come out to 0$ |

seriously? It is a good idea... but has anyone ever had the balls to do that?
I tried to do that with a chapters book but then forgot about it.

somebody i know did that with an ipod succesfully, and another person did it with a DVD burner.
