Review: System Boat Cruise

Nothing like partying on a boat!

The vibe was great on the river gambler last night.

dj hits started off the night doing what he does best...playing the hits, and then things got progressively better from there.

Jelo's set was really good, one of the best I've ever seen him.
He really mixes in and out of tracks fast, only a few minutes per track and already he's moving on.
Ghostbusters-Laidback Luke and Steve Angello mix was the track of the night for me.

Then it was downstairs for Nuera's set, which unfortunately was hampered by a broken mixer, which Andrew battled magnificently.
He wins MVP of the night.

All in all a great night.

Isn't it obvious he's my favourite dj?

It just so happens he has talent when it comes to mixing, track selection and most importantly knowing how to please a crowd.

the vibe WAS great. loved when the boat would turn around, all the dancers would try to keep grip. lol. good fun. as if it ended at 3 though!! instead of a night of mayhem it only provided for the beginning of one! lot's of improvisation from that point, footworks and zone afterwards w/ two CRAZIES. jojo and maria = always good times. no pics of lkd, but it was nice to meet the starter.

first time to the zone! venue and sound were awesome, but the people..... uhhh.... leave something to be desired, creeeeeepy. and no booze to help me at that point. and after this show of a night, i mish down the ttc (also a first) all the way to the borough, only to walk right into the middle of a bloody garage sale! lmao. booyah. mrs w rocks. thanks 4 all the stuff. perfect saturday all in all, garage sale, sun, tennis, and a pool. time to finish the wknd off with some solid breaks. if the legs give out, it was all worth it.
will post pics of the party here tomorrow.
best lines - "maybe it's not like riding a bike"
- "how much $$$ did we make on the garage sale" 15 bucks "i'd have paid $15 NOT to have had the stupid sale"
NuERA
definately a great time. being on the water partying it up on the upper level with the open air with wicked views of the city is an expeirence thats tough to beat! my first boat cruise and just like sarah said, wont be my last!

here's my review finaly

the boat cruise was amazing, rolling up in a limo was awesome everyone was looking over like wtf is this and me, peter and rich get out and are like 'ya baby, that's right.' i did not want that cruise to end too much fun, all the DJ's were amazing they all did a great job.

after the boat we went to footwork for a very big disapointment so we left pretty early and hit up cozo for the first time. and i have to say that the music was awesome but the longer you stay the the sketchier it gets. ended up staying there till 12 and tried to look for a place to sleep but no luck so me and pete went back to K-W which prob was a good thing cuz i later found out that my right foot was messed up, it was all tender and raw from too much dancing.

overall the weekend was perfect
