Indeed, not the best of crowd's last night. Much prefer weekday nights at that place.

Nevertheless, the party was rocking: Ferry was spinning Trance and the crowd was digging it, a lot of people were actually dancing last night, and dancing hard.

Ferry KILLED IT!

I have a load of videos of all the classics and a 13min vid of Punk (which is old but I haven't heard it spun in quite some time and it tore the roof off) and then his encore Fire.

Ferry was having a great time and so were we the entire night.

After his set he was very sociable and was allowing everyone to take pics with him -- really nice guy.

Can't wait to see him again at Love Fest.

Full review, pics, vids, later......

That current Afterparty lineup is

yeah i like how oakenfold's name is extra large as if that's a selling point :haha: personally the only selling point i see is christopher lawrence, and maybe andy moor. otherwise an off-the-wall random line up. last years was much better, i can't believe they went from carl cox, markus, ferry, kva, b&j, a&b, mike koglin, bbb and pendulum, to this...

yeah I'll be most likely looking for some other event, even if it's on the Friday night. It was pretty spent after the day-time festvities as it was last year. That lineup is not inspiring, with the exceptions as you noted above.

sounds like there is a chance Tiesto will be either there in the day or at some night event (RS?) since he is booked for Tahoe on the Thursday.

Wow, what a night!!! Ferry really brought it with tunes ive never heard of. Thats probably why i enjoy his sets alot. I dont know how many drinks i had but barely got a buzz all night. :(

Do you guys remember walking through the left side of the floor when you enter the club, its stank like bad vinegar. :wtf:

It was a good crowd and i had to promote outside at three- ish so i wasnt able to catch Ferry's last hour or so. But could hear it from the doors anyway. haha

Great seeing Dave T, lex400sc, David Blurr, and the rest of the crew up on stage. Fun nights. Anyone going out for peters tonight? I may swing by for some trance at 1015 to see what Taj is playing these days.

tiesto is already booked at some music festival on the east coast, but i'm still holding out for the tba djs on the lovefest afterparty. i dunno it looks like cokenfold is the main event right now, which is a real dealbreaker for me. needs a REAL main attraction if they ever hope to sell out that auditorium, so far every rave and music festival announced in socal is already way better than our ONE lovefest afterparty... everyone needs to drop the dinosaur acts like oakie and tiesto and work on bringing the fresh talent into the lime light. no one wants to take the risks though...
