I know that makes more sense... but it just doesn't sound like it... I just keep hearing this senses part... But hey, you're right! We'll probably never figure it out unless there's hq version of the song out there... Let's just hope It'll get there soon :D

| Hmm when I first heard this song, I thought it was good but not great. But it's been on repeat in my winamp for the past hour and it's starting to grow on me. I don't really like the voice of the female singer though...maybe Jan Johnston would have been better? |

For one thing we know clearly that this is a stupid rumor about oakey not relaesing it for the simple fact that oakey is obviously a very smart man for he would not have accumulated the status he has today if he didnt know what he was doing. Do some of you really think if a song oakey made and was remixed by tiesto is ripping it up in clubs all over the world, that he wont realize how popular his song is, i think we need to give oakey more credit, hes not an idiot we are the idiots for thinking such garbage, oakey has been with us since the beginning why would you all doubt his credibility now? I have never lost faith in Oakey, he never ceases to amaze me. For me if The tiesto mix is so awesome then im sure the original and im sure other remixes of this song will also be wicked, i cant wait for the release of this bangin choon.

| I have to agree with you van_dyk_13. Oakey is smart and for people to doubt him is stupid seeing as he has been with electronica from the start! From Hip Hop to Trance and Acid House to Drum and Bass. He's done it all. Don't think he is stupid the man knows exactly waht to do. And when did Oakey say that he didnt like the Tiesto mix. If you ask me this is just someone trying to stir you all up! Don't believe a word unless you hear it from Oakey's mouth! And Southern Sun will probably be released on 12". But at the moment he has to finish his Artist album.Im sure it will be rockin!! |

some one earlier reckons it's from dutch dimension 2002. i guess it probably was. tiesto also spun it at two tribes perth 2002

OK, you gotta check this out:
More of an update on Southern Sun. Previously suggest remixes have included Oakenfold's own Perfecto Mix, Tiesto's Mix made famous at Dutch Dimension Solo, and Solar Stone's mixes to bring up a chillout side of it. As i:Vibes exclusive pointed out 6 remixes to come, one of the other ones is a surprise remix from Faithless.
Although initially, this should see a double pack promo release on Perfecto within the next 2 months, the final release is likely to be a single vinyl with 3 remixes.
Rumours that Oakenfold does not like Tiesto's Mix has been deemed to be false and should be ignored. As far as all parties are concerned, Oakenfold is very impressed with Tiesto's remix and it will likely feature on the compilation album.
