Hmm when I first heard this song, I thought it was good but not great. But it's been on repeat in my winamp for the past hour and it's starting to grow on me. I don't really like the voice of the female singer though...maybe Jan Johnston would have been better? |
I love her voice... it's like Kosheen-Catch..it's edgy and all nice!
I became crazy and started to dance in my room 10 min ago!! Had the Tiësto solo tour on and then this Amazing song came up! Ohhh i fookin love it!!
I want to see that live! ARggh! |

Original version ain't so bad so far. Thanx for the link.
Edit: OK, I just listened to the whole thing and I'm sure if this is gonna make sense to anyone but here goes... is it just me or does the chorus of the original sound nothing like the chorus of the Tiesto mix? I know that there weren't another set of lyrics written for just Tiesto's mix, but... It might just be that we can finally hear what the hell she's saying but from what ppl have as the lyrics down, we're totally wrong. She says:
"Cause it's easier to fly,
Then to face another night of Southern Sun.
And your love is all around,
In the end, you set me free."
That's what I can make out as the vocals for this. People who really want to clear up the lyrics, I suggest you listen to this version cause you'll get them all. |

Yea man, it's weird how tiesto didnt use the original lyrics/chorus, and rather using a different version that they probably sampled or something.
But your right, i spoke with the moderator of Oakie's site and he told me that the official / original mix vocals were a bit different then the tiesto rmx. And the lyrics that you put up there are correct also. |

/me whips Oakies ass :whip: :whip: |
that's just a rumour going around, the truth is, there was this guy asking Tiësto if it's true that Oakie didn't like his remix and that it will not include on the release he just laughed :) he said oakie liked his remix and that it will be released too! :D |

the original is chilling, but come on! Tiesto made an anthem out of it (as always!)

| Rumour or not, as long as Tiesto's mix will be out soon, I'm happy :D |

Paul Oakenfold - Southern Sun (Tiësto Remix), I've heard a rumour that Paul is not happy with the remix and has asked you to do it again. I am confused as to whether this is true or not seeing as it is such a good remix. Can you clear this up for us?
It's just a rumour, Paul likes the mix but I think when you produce a track you always like your own mix better then the other ones. Same for me, I like picotto's mix of lethal industry but still prefer my own because that's excactly the way i wanted the record to be.
