yes I know it is my fault pretty much, but it still sucks:(
went clubbing last night, my bag kept getting in a way, so tucked it on the side of the dancefloor, keeping an eye on it
next thing I know it's gone, and I'm almost crying cos of all the possessions in it, calling the phone but noone picks up...
the female security found it in the girls' washroom, dumped into the toilet water tank, with my wallet completely emptied out... ing bitches, take the money but why purposely ruin my phone with water?!
I actually managed to dry it today a bit, so it's kinda working... cancelled all my cards
what's nice is that the promoter/Dj is my good friend.. so he insisted on giving me a certain sum of money as a compensation, so I at least have money for my travelling 2morrow
great way to say bye to me for 2 months:(

yeah I know how you feel...I almost lost my wallet last weekend when my friends came down from the states, I was way to wasted to realize where I dropped it - but luckly I have amazing friends they went to the last two intersections we passed and searched the roads ( turns out I left my wallet on the car and at some point it dropped on the road ) but they found it 1 hour later...
don't even stress yourself out anymore, nothing can be done at this point.But whatever goes around comes around... ;)

I'm the kind of guy who tabs his pockets every other min to check if my wallet is there :toothless |

exactly.
i carry a pretty big camera bag that is a lot bigger than more womens' purse. i dont leave that anywhere. even when i dance i have it on me. the odd time i will leave it in the dj booth only if i know the djs. |

i've lost counts of times things got missing from Dj booths, so that's hardly safe either
anyway, this thread mostly for girls who like me carry purses around (I don't know why I didn't take my pouch last night:()

you're leaving it in the wrong dj booths then.. but i can understand that since you would leave your freakin purse sitting in a corner and think it would be safe.

dude I hardly wanna hear a tone of this kind right now, alright? I just shared a ty experience with whoever might be doing the same thing in clubs, and I don't want you to rub my face into my own stupidity right now, I understand fully that what I did wasn't safe at all |

sorry to hear what happend Kris, but I don't think many others do such a thing. I would NEVER leave my purse anywhere. I don't even leave it alone in the Purple Room in Waterloo where things from TA's have gone missing several times. :(
You should be thankful that you didn't have your passport in there since you are going home tomorrow. And a phone is just a phone, I much rather have the money for leaving the country. You are lucky that you have a good friend that helped you out. |
