for everyone who got stuck in teh traffic and is going next year
if you are going up the 215, exit one street after orange show, go right, and a left on e street, take a right on oak and park, walk out the arrowhead st and go right. i drove from riverside and it took me a total of 20 minutes from when i left to get inside, no traffic at all =) |

| also, do any of you guys go to clubs in LA, none of my freinds like trance so i never go to any events, this is like my first event in a few years. |

i agree with you, but isnt that what your boy sasha does?:p
actually i heard has a group of people that he pays just to warp his tracks so all he does is just load up all of his new pre warped tracks into his comptuer?:p he may have a fancy mixer but he still

Ya know, I was gonna add Sasha to my post but didnt cause I was lazy :p
The difference being, Sasha at least uses Ableton's excellent effects, and atleast does some interesting re-edits and once in awhile a cool mashup. No he doesnt use ableton to its fullest but at least he does SOMETHING. With G&D its like...nothing. No effects, no mashups no interesting mixes. Nothing. Just track to track like you would with two turntables and a 3 eq mixer.
The main difference is YOU CAN TELL A SASHA ABLETON SET from a normal mix.
And yes he does have a team to warp tracks for him, but I dont blame him. I gave up on ableton cause I'm too lazy to sit there and prepare all my tracks...I'd rather just burn em to CD-R and jump on the CDJs. If I was getting about 50 new tracks a week like he is, I'd hire people to do it too, just to ease up on my schedule. And its not really outside people, since the guys who do it are part of his team and most of them are also sound engineers who have worked on his albums. His main engineer Barry was at Avalon checking on ableton every few minutes on Saturday. |
