My cousin is a pilot, so blood relatives fly at a 90% discount. The catch is that you fly standby so you can't get your ticket until the day of your flight, but the airlines take of me, they will boot savages like you so that I can have a secure seat ;) |

WMC/Ibiza dont count...those are like events.
The real test is how far you'll go for one single club night.
Me and Tigo and a few other LATA's all migrated out to see Sasha @ ICE...that was the farthest for me. |

| Not the furthest I'v travelled but most hectic, ditched my 2PM class, drove 3 hours, got a speeding ticket, drove another 3 hours, had some food, saw pvd spin one of the most unbelievable sets I have ever heard, left club around 2-3AM, drove back 6 hours, went to my 9AM class. |

| o i forgot about my craziest journey to see a dj. in 2002 I went to my first ever party. It was Day 2 of Coachella. I got to see BT, Oakenfold, Tiesto, and Pete Tong. In a row! (not in that order tho). It was amazing! Pete Tong and BT recorded their essential mix that day. This was my first time ever seeing my favorite dj's. Anyways, I drove out there from Santa Barbara. Then drove back afterwards. Made it back at like 630am just in time for my 8am class. Ouch! |

| i've only driven as far as la for a specific dj (~400 miles). pretty much everyone i wanna hear can be found between sf and la so the only reason for me to fly out of state is for big music festivals, which will happen someday :o. i've done a bunch of solo missions starting with armin @ virgin + spundae la just to check out the socal scene. i was blown away by the contrast between spundae la & sf and came back again for armin & boris, which was not as pleasant. i HAD to check out markus & j00f at spundae la, j00f set spundae on fire that night. i wanted to check out new years parties in la so i went for markus g&d j00f & mike @ spundae then sander k @ avalon. even though i spent a bill to get in and only caught about an hour of good music there, avalon's setup blew my mind and the rest is history... sasha & zabiela, sasha & burridge and most recently steve lawler :eyespop: i'm really pissed i faked on coachella though :( |

if you go to Ibiza, why not count it? is this topic only for driving trips?
either way, I flew to experience Armada Night in Ibiza, Ferry Corsten at Eden as well as Cream with Paul Van Dyk last summer ....
going again this year, no doubts about it ... worth every cent
as for driving, I drove from San Antonio to New Orleans (600 miles) on 2000 to see Sasha in february, old-school rave |
