How far have you travelled to see a DJ Perform? (pg. 3)

i personally dont consider wmc to be a an answer to the question "how far have you travelled to see a dj perform"
but thats technically the furthest i've gone. WMC 2005
as far as going to see one (or 2 djs) in one night, the furthest i've ever gone was:
Atlanta july 2005 to see Sasha/Porter and kick it w/ the ATLTA's
then
LA Feb/April for Sasha/JZ & Sasha/Lee |

well for me:
LA to:
San Fran
San Deigo
Tucson to:
LA, San Deigo, San Franscisco, Palm Springs (cocahella)
Tuscon To LA, have an 11 hour intentinal layover, then fly to miami for WMC

wouldnt it be the same for anyone who doesn't live in miami?:conf:
i was just saying its a lot easier to plan to go to say wmc [think vacation] (long event, multiple shows) than say just travelling somewhere for a single night club event. |

I travelled from LA to Toronto to see Picotto, Sven Vath, and Oakenfold (in one night).
Also went to NYC to see Picotto & Gabry Fasano. |

werd, wmc isn't travelling for a dj or an event... wmc is a vacation people anticipate and plan for months in advance. people go there because they know they can see a bunch of djs at a bunch of events over an entire week. |

| Hhmmmm........I went to Global Gathering last year in England, Ibiza 2004 for AVB. This past Feb I went to England and saw Ferry at Turnmills, then flew over to Holland to go to TRANCE ENERGY the following night by myself I may add so I was a trooper.........what else.........oh I saw Marco V in Taiwan...........I flew to SF to see Matt Darey once. For Ibiza, I actually went to Czech Rep first, flew from Prague to London, then flew a red eye from London to Ibiza. That was fun! My first major trip was Passion in England for a huge night with Ferry, Above and Beyond, J00F, Andy Bagguely, Marc West.....etc.....That was probably the best night of my life too!:D |

God damn. Dancing is clearly the proper industry to be in :p
Vegas I guess is the farthest. I'm not going to count Ibiza, WMC, Love Parade, or Coachella. Those are annual events that alot of people travel to...not necessarily to see their fav dj, but to see a number of djs and enjoy the scene. |

| i flew to montreal for BalenBlanc for Nic Fanciulli (11:00pm - 2:00 am) then Infected Mushroom (2-5:30pm) Armin Van Buuren (5:30 - 9:00 am) and finished with Deep Dish (10:00 am - 12:00 pm) SIIIIIIIIIIICK NIGHT .. a lot better than WMC or Innercity ... |
