Australia was always going to make it that far, infact if we won last night like we deserved to you would of been in for a shock cuz i reckon we would of made the semi's.
I have said for years that having to qualify against Uraguay or other countries from that region is stupid because Australian soccer is underrated and we should be qualifying amongst local countries like the Oceania devision with Asia. Australia will prove you wrong in 4 years time. We were not lucky to make it that far, we deserved every bit of it plus some. We were unlucky not to make the final 8 and still even unlucky not to make the final 4 because thats how much damn potential our boys have especially because they play honest attacking football and work as a team better than most of the big name nations who have teams of stars.
So off and in 4 years time dont turn on SBS if you dont wanna be annoyed by the soccer. Go watch some Guthy Renkar infomercials instead. Try that proactive stuff. It may just clear up your face of all that damn gunk you built up while being forced to watch the soccer.
PS dont take this personally I am just really pissed off about this whole situation. |
