hey fellow TAs,
the Cleveland based label Toes In The Sand (progressive house and breaks) launch a remix contest for a track of mine called In Leaps and Bounds, supported by djs like Hernan Cattaneo, Dj Tarkan, etc.
The winning remix will be released with 4 other remixes (of the 4 other tracks of the EP), by the duo V-Sag ans Dj Tarkan, the newcomers Emersia, the dutch amazing boy Eelke Kleijn, and the talented Drew Nichols.
I hope you'll enjoy it!

| i like the bassline in this track, but find the synthy overtone rather annoying, i think this would be a key change to a good remix. |

Let me understand since I'm new to this. I've never done a remix. Must we use all parts? I'm assuming we can make up our own parts with what was given to us, right?
I know I'm going to be black-listed and get so much flak for asking such a stupid question :(

you can use the parts as you like, there are no specific rules... Listen to Derek Howell Remix of Skooma - Mephala, there is almost no originl parts used. And this remix rocks! |
