We get the point, you don't like Portugal - but to bring it up again a few posts later (within the same thread no less) is lame. :rolleyes:

1-) England -- Imagine if this already massively overhyped and crappy team wins the Cup. We'd never hear the end of it from the British media. BBC boycott for a year.
2-) Italy -- By far the most unenjoyable style of football ever seen by man. They were supposed to be more offensive minded and to play fair this time. Yeah right. Boring defensive swan divers FTL.
3-) Germany -- Arrogant as ever. Unlikeable as ever. Charmless as ever. Nothing more to add.
4-) France -- Don't really hate them or like them. Zidane is great; the rest of the team I'm indifferent about. Whatever.
5-) Ukraine -- As the only remaining underdog with a player I enjoy watching in Sheva, why not?
6-) Portugal -- I've liked this team since Euro 2000. I like them even more after their game against Holland. Figo for the headbutt :D
7-) Argentina -- If Brazil doesn't take the cup, at least it'll stay in South America where it belongs.

Italy, Portugal, or the Ukraine. The first two because of the diving and the ways that they've won, and the Ukraine simply because they've not impressed me in the games I've seen. Though I didn't see it, destroying Saudi Arabia is not something to brag about, it's expected.
Kind of sucks that Brazil repeats year after year, but they're good, so.... If not them, i'd like to see Germany or Argentina. Both of them have shown streaks of impressive play.
France and England I'm pretty indifferent on. |

1) Brazil - it's getting boring having them in every final!
2) Germany - share the cup please :)
3) Portugal - couldn't take the local reaction in portuguese community, plus I hate half their team.
4) Italy - diving buggers
5)Ukraine - meh, they won't win anyway and we all know it.
6) France - I like a lot of their players, especially Zidane and Henry. Very classy guys IMO.
7) Argentina - most english don't like them for various reasons, but they're talented and fun to watch.
8) England - 40 years is too long. |

I'd only like to see Argentina or England win it (prefer Argentina). Argentina has brought us the best football up till now and England is just a team I'd like to sheer for (But I do hope they will be playing better soon)
Wouldn't like to see following counties win:
1. Brazil: Everybody thinks they're going to win it from day 1. The WC would become a little bit boring if they'd actually win it again. I'm also a fan of good football, and they haven't shown me that really
2. Germany: don't like their football, they're always lucky, ... they have surprised me in some matches, but they didn't really have a good team against them up till now so that explains it all
3. Ukraine: don't really play that good.
4. Italy: they don't deserve to be in te QF, Australia should still be in it ... they also played too defensive on other WC, but at this wc they surprised me in some matches so I'm hoping they can bring some more attacking football.
5. France: they play way too defensive, that's why I don't like their coach ... They should play with Henry AND Trezeguet
6. Portugal: This teams doesn't mean much to me, ... don't see them win it anyway. They can bring us some good football, so i'm hoping for that in the first place.
a little note to end with: if the final wc winner wins it with good football it'll all be good for me and then I could live with it :p |

I hate them also, but there are other teams which I even hate more!
I really hate those stupid hooligans who destroy every city where england plays! its so pathetic! its always the same! not only @ a football tournament! Everywhere where I go on vacantion are english people who terrorize everything, especially when they are drunk (theyre almost whole the time drunk) Its like english people have beer in theyre blood.
And then those red skin when they were in the sun for like 5 min or sumting:) |
