| England may be the favorite at least in the confine of this thread, but I can guarantee you that they will not win the world cup. It will mostly come down to Brazil, Germany, and Portugal. |

Portugal won't get past Brazil if they beat England, who by the way, are certainly NOT favourites to win the WC, but only to reach the semis. Likely the final will include the usual suspects; Brazil, italy, ze Germans and Argies. |

I do not know why some of you are accusing Portugal players as divers where it was clear that the dutch were falling like they had narcolepsy. The only acting I saw was on Figo's part (when he was elbowed on the face and he made it seem like he was stabbed on the face). The dutch players on the other hand pushed two Portugese players after the foul was called and Kuyt couldn't help himself from kissing grass.
On another note, it was interesting to see that van Basten always kept his cool. |

1- Brazil - Don hate the team, but enough is enough. We need a new champion.
2- germany - Never liked their style.

| England for definates, I just couldn't stand the media hype if they did win it. Another 40 years of commemorative sky one programming, channel 5 documentries and sun newspaper pull outs. It'd be hell. |
