lol looks like the media is bored on the first non world cup day as well. they always bring up random like this to add fuel to an alreay potentially fiery game. Just because the ref sent beckham of because of a bad challenge doesnt mean he has an agenda against him.

Now being south american if his wife gave birth to a incredibly sexy blond haired baby with a zoolander personality 9 months after beckham left the area, it would have been a different story & besides with blatter finally putting his foot down on refs, i think the card flashing should be on the decline from here on.

the last game i remember between England and Portugal that ended on penalties was one of the most thrilling matches i've ever seen.

you talking about Swiss-Ukraine?

I hope Putugal wins. They play hard, but they can play football, something England hasn't shown yet.

i'm already ing sick of the buildup to the game, and the pathetic battle and hype between portuguese media and english media.

Definitely rooting for England but I see Putogal winning 2-1. I don't know how England has been winning, they have great individual players who don't play well as a team. I can't remember how many shots Lampard kicked WAY over the goal. Countless. Portugal just seems to have a little more magic out there, being on their own or it being the refs giving it to them.

i think one thing on our side is that lampard *surely* can't possibly go much further without hammering one in, it's getting ridiculous how many times he's ed chances up!
