Just now outside people who like trance, virtually no trance DJ gets any "respect" or "recognition" by people who are into or play other forms of EDM. For a start trance is uncool and percieved as too commercial.
Only current trance DJ's that prob get any respect are Sander Van Doorn (not really trance)and Paul Van Dyk (because hes PVD). JOOF probably gets some respect also. |

this is pretty interesting. although i'm a big fan of 70's funk...i've never heard of Kool Herc before. any idea where i might be able to find and listen to some old sets of his or CDs or something? |
