| Really.. it's probably my favorite horror film, next to 'It' & kept me up a couple nights. I remember opening weekend, there were warning signs posted everywhere in & outside the theatres, warning the viewers of the crude images in the true story. The interviews in the beginning only gave the following events a more practical feel. *enter hypocrite mode:Just because the plot wasn't handed to us viewers on a 24k gold platter doesn't mean it's not worthy. :haha: |

Actually I think everyone doesn't like it because it doesn't really have an ending.
You know, theres no hero who overcomes, gets the girl and lives happily ever after. All the poeple get killed an thats it. Theresno real conclusion to it which leaves people unsatisfied. And then theres the whole story about the witch having one stand in the corner while it kills the other at the start which soo many people seem to miss so the final scene doesn't make sense to them.
Kinda like 2001: A Space Oddessy, people didn't like it because it didn't end, theres a sequence for a few minutes at the end which makes no sense (unless you have read the book) and then its over.
having said that, it does seem to lose its puff in the middle. But then I haven't seen it since it came out in cinemas and I'm not that huge on horror movies in the first place |

i watched this movie on my friend's computer about 2 months b4 it was released in theatres and b4 any hype
i thought it was real, and bricks! couldn't sleep properly for a week.

The first time I saw it I thought it was pretty scary. I don't like scary movies that just have gore or things popping out that make loud noises. This was more psychological, so for me it was a bit scarier. That and you never knew what was going on - also scary.
But I don't think I could take it seriously if I saw it a second time.
Blair Witch 2 was really, really bad though. |
