In the peak of eurodance we had names like Culture Beat, Jam&Spoon etc. My question is this.. Can you name another Marc Spoon? Are there any eurodance producers who in their later days (now) are making somewhat good EDM productions?
Example
Jam & Spoon - Right In The Night vs. Storm - Storm
Edit: RIP :(

CJ Stone (Bass Bumpers and some other projects)
Mauro Picotto (Cappella)

Eurodance is pretty much dead as far as I'm concerned, or at least I have yet to find a substantial amount of music that is similar to the eurodance sound. Snap and Amber both were some of my fav eurodance artists in the day and they both sound far removed from it now, while most of the other artists I like have faded into obscurity (Captain Hollywood Project and Cartouche, for example). I don't consider venga/picotto/katana and all those guys to be eurodance either (well, maybe 2 unlimited, but that's about it), to me eurodance is stuff like haddaway/culture beat/la bouche/real mccoy/corona and so forth, and there isn't really any music out there that sounds like that anymore, or at least none that I've found. It's too bad, because eurodance was all about love and dancing, and we need more music that preaches that to cancel out all the emo pop lyrics of today (at least in america anyways).
Errr, so in answer to your question, the only two eurodance producers I know that are still around are Snap and Amber, although the red-headed chick from Dee-lite still does some DJ'ing. |

Couldn't agree more.
PS. Bringing up Vengaboys made U96 loose his Love Religion
:wtf: |

Alex Christensen (U96) is one of those people who always was a cheese producer (yeah, he went off and did one or two less cheesy tracks tho), from u96 to his own tracks as alex c to producing rollergirl, atc, bro'sis and others.

Remove the rapping, change the lyrics from dancing and sweating to lost love and emotions, replace the pads and leads with Ferry Corsten presets, and you have Vocal Trance. |
