EDM is EDM in my book; the elitism can be done without. Anyone wants to gripe about "this genre" or "that genre", they can call the number for the above. I don't give a if it's trance, techno, electro, breaks, prog, dnb, acid, psy, house, minimal, tech-house, tech-prog, tech-tech-toe, whattheever. If it moves me, I'm putting it in the playlist, and opinions be damned.
Dirk is right, though; 90% of the hater crowd are just bullting, and would go to trance gigs if their pals all went just to hang out if nothing else (regardless of what they say, trance doesn't make them break out in leprous sores), and they only bull because it gets a rise out of people and they think it's funny as to see someone go off on a forum or whereever in the defense of the realm over what's essentially just teasing.
The other 10%. . .they listen to country music, and sheep for money. Leave them to it. :crazy: |
