Most underrated/overrated cities in Europe? (pg. 3)

The danish seem to be patriotic enough, especially considering the latest election, but Copenhagen is one of the most beautiful cities i know. None of the danish people Ive met have had the mentality described on that Jantelag site tho, but then again maybe older people are more like that.. or else Ive just been lucky..
I totally agree that Copenhagen is the "gateway to Scandinavia". Its more continental than say Stockholm, but still not entirely. And the danish club scene is good if you compare with what we have over here.. You´ve got Gorgeous, we have about nothing :whip: |

| Scandinavian people as a rule are quieter than even other Europeans I believe. That doesnt mean they are arrogant or mean, just reserved. And just the way I like it actually. I was listening to my PvD cd on the Oresundstog with the volume apparently too high, said something i thot was quiet and undoubtedly made an ass of myself there tho! hehe late/ |

i'll be in Amsterdam for a whole week in June. my aunt lives about 2 or 3 km southeast of the dam area, but i don't know anyone else living..so we're defintely going to have to hang out! :) |

bleh i hated berlin..
didnt find one kewl club.. i even got my ass in some club which turned out te bo some hook-up dating club lol.. we all got red hearts pinned on.. @ end of evening youd be hooked up 2 some Conan the barbarian look a like girl..
city looks like a mess.. especially the old russian commie part.. not fun to be.. imho |

i thought Tresor and Casino were supposed to be hot clubs. |

I'd say Eastern Europe is overlooked by travelers.
e.g. the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Slovenia.
These countries are very beautiful.
Unfortunately fewer people speak English there, and FOR SURE you won't understand their native languages (unless you come from a Slavic background, for most of them). |

You're right Eugene. Been to Prague last year and was so surprised at its beauty, its female inhabitants beauty :eyes: (remember where daniela pestova *points at his sig* comes from), and those cheap prices..WOOW such a cool city!
Amsterdam speaks for itself..every1 knows what it is about and i shallnt waste my time typing "go there for s sake!!*..damn just did it :D
Malaga is cool, Berlin of course..Vienna not (but im too subjective since its my capital)..Yeah i agree on what Proxi said: Antwerpen is a very cool, very beautiful city as well! Those pubs are nice, and the chocolate..hmmm :)

what? based on these posts? personally no one has EVER told me to go to Copenhagen or StockHOLM...plus how can it be overrated if you cant actually spell the name of the city? id offer my own, but i havent been around enough...damn/
ill offer my worst airports tho:
1)Frankfurt
2)Detroit
3)Heathrow

Excuse me for having a letter off, I was at work and was bored. And then something came up, SO I hurried :) I have been to all of those places, And they all seem unerrated overrated. I have family in Germany and Sweden :toothless And have been to those places, And they all seem it :)
Worst Airports Eh?
1) Boston
2) Chicago
3) Yea, Frankfurt is pretty bad they lost my suitcase and gave it back 3 months later with my cd player missing :whip: |

yeah i guess it depends where you call home. i personally never thot i would be visiting denmark and sweden EVER, so it was cool when i went, and didnt seem all that overrated. the worst thing about Frankfurt is that they didnt ing build it on one level so you end up running up and down stairs just to make a connection- and i wont even start on the security/ |
