Because the town was founded by British settlers and they thought it would be a good thing to honour the place where Nepolian got his ass handed to him. |

k that make sense. i guess i've always associated waterloo as a negative. ever heard of the expression 'that was my waterloo'? meaning that was my tragic downfall. |
