let's not get carried away here. paris hilton is hardly my "idol". i dont have an idol. i'm my own idol.
i just like to root for the underdog and i think she's funny. trashy and dumb too? yea she's that. but i dunno, i just can't bring myself to hate her. and i like her look, even though she's a whore.
and jdat i should have taken a picture of myself the first night i had to cocktail waitress in sobe:p i had a pleated black mini skirt on with a black top and black knee high boots and 10 lbs of makeup on. hahah i looked like a hooker.

I know you said you didn't make as much as you were expecting ... so my question might seem stupid ... but did people still tip well ?
( I am thinking your night wasn't as successful cause you weren't up to speed yet, it was an off night or the clients just sucked ... )
And 10 lbs of makeup is a big no no this season! ;)
This season is all about the back au naturel! But I don't the think the global season of 'fashion' applies to Miami where plastic seems to be the norm.
If you're gonna look like a hooker might as well work as one and you know you'll make the money for sure :p |

i was exaggerating. but yea, i wore a lot of eye makeup. it looked cool. trust me, i don't wear that much make up during the week. maybe some mascara, blush and lip gloss and that's it. i like the natural look too, but it's also fun to dress up like that and go a little overboard when you have an excuse to. you gotta have that "look" when you work in a night club, and i'm just glad i can kinda pull it off even though i'm not tan with fake .
anyway, they bombed the opening weekend because they were too much in a hurry and too much went wrong including the weather. there is only one big VIP section inside and you only need 3 (tops) waitresses in there and there's like 10 of us. the rest of the VIP is upstairs on the sunset lounge and it's sick up there, but it's july, and no one wants to buy a bottle and sit outside and sweat all night.
so they shut down for a week and are going to add more VIP sections inside and get all their straight and then reopen on the 22nd. so far, i've only been making like $70-100 bucks a night, which isn't bad, but i was expecting to make like $300-$500. that's the norm. and everyone tips well and there's also a 20% gratuity added to each tab, but it doesn't say it on the tab which i think is ed up, but apparantly they can do that. so everyone has been double tipping me. i feel kinda bad screwing ppl over like that, but at the same time, they're all rich ******s who could probably care less anyway, so whatever. |

On second thought I am gonna need lots more money.
It's so warcm here.
Since sunday I have worn 4 outfits, and a different pair of shoes each time ( gotta keep the colour scheme going you know what I mean! )
I need some high quality shorts please. For the summer!!!!! |

my bf just bought a really cool pair of "summer shorts" from American Eagle. They were only like $25 bucks and they look like they were expensive. they're white with small tan stripes and the material is cool. |
