I was thinking more Mooby from Dogma hehe.
I just went to target and got some sweet ass new club/dress shirts. They have a new line in thats about 30 dollars per shirt that are embroidered lightly with patterns and designs. Looks so cool.
Also they have 100% linen shirts for like....15 bucks!
Target is becoming my Nordstrom. Except instead of thinking "man when I have 80 bucks im getting that shirt" i just get it because I think "whoa at Nordstrom thats 80 bucks. I have to get it" |

that's the thing with Europe it's difficult to get some decent quality clothes at a cheap price.
AE doesn't exist here and all the cheaper stores like h&m c&a zara etc ... well let's be honest they might be a bit fashionable but their quality sucks.
I buy expensive stuff not cause it's cool but cause it will last me.
I have some 150$ sweaters that are 6 years old that still look new to this day! |

yea i know. you dont have to point out the whole quality vs. quantity with me...but you're right about the U.S. it's easy to find cheap stuff that doesn't look or feel cheap. i still like to splurge on some labels when i can, but i dont mind going to old navy for some work pants. actually i have a really nice pair of pin striped tan slacks from old navy that were $25 and the material is so nice, i could easily get away with saying that i spent $100 on them at banana republic:p
oh and just shop online for the US stuff...duh.
oh and i love zara!! |

Zara has nice looking stuff for girls but the quality sucks.
And yeah I try to shop online from Us stores but it's not always the best because of sizing and crap :( |

no way, i bought craig a really nice shirt for his bday from zara and it looks super nice and it was only $35 bucks.
they also have really nice quality sleeveless shirts for men there. that stretchy, smooth cotton material. he lives in those cuz it's hot down here. he has a nice calvin klein one and if u put it next to the zara one, you can't tell the difference in material. |

there are so many "boutiques" in miami that sell all those sexy brazilian jeans and tops for like $30, so it's really easy for a girl to have a decent wardrobe that doesn't look like trash. that's me!! but i also have the occasional piece of clothing in my wardrobe that i splurged on...like my $110 dollar ripped jeans from Astoria on Lincoln road.
even though i love fashion, i'm not completely on top of the game and know EVERY single expensive designer out of milan. i just know the mainstream ones like chanel and prada, etc... there's too many to keep up with. |

I watch Fashion Tv on a regular basis :clown: ( they also play cool house music :) )
And I always make sure to get every issue of the new york times during fashion weeks around the world |

| baaaaaaah this thread is making me want to go shopping. though i plan to do that tomorrow. i hate the fact that stores here are so freakin expensive! i dont like to spend that much on clothings but for some nice stuff, yeah.. its alright. i dont care too much about brands.. though i do like Zara & FCUK lots. Zara, its not too expensive and has huge selection to choose from. too bad the quality wont last you for more than one season or two! Zara has great reasonable shoes! a i prolly spend the most money on shoes.. esp boots. and i dont mind paying for a nice pair of jeans. i love my True Religion jeans! :D |

The only item I'd not think 'omg omgomg why did i just do that, what about money for food, im going to be evicted & i owe Lindsay $50 for our hangman competition' is for SHOES!
You've just got to take care of your feet. Calloused ass checks, corns on my elbows, dry chafed bellybutton, heel spurs on my cheeks, sore nipples I can handle, but my feet carry ME! |

Zephora? you mean Sephora? :p it's is a store that sells nothing but makeup, perfume/cologne, and skin/hair care products. it's like every woman's heaven. they have everything from Dior to Hard Candy, to Philosophy (my favorite line of stuff). i could go nuts in that store. ur crazy. but yea, i agree about the shoes too. i found a little dumb shoe store by my mom's that sells overstock stuff i guess cuz they have Bebe, Guess, Mimi, Nine West, BCBG, etc...shoes and they're all like $20-$50. the only ones that are over $20 are boots. i love that place. of course if i was loaded i'd only hit up neiman for $300 dollar pairs of prada heels. :(
