he usually opens for bigger dj's but he is pretty good and lays down decent energy

USE IT!! Seriously, why are all of your threads completely self-centered, asking us to do all your research, even when you know it's already here? "What time's Armin on?", "What time's Markus on and will he play a ty 'New York' set to cater to house fans?", "How's Serge Devant?"

Reviews of events he's done are all over this site. He's opened for how many DJs that play here. Do you really think that people are going to give you more info than can be found in reviews made 1-2 days after seeing him spin? Be self-sufficient.

It really annoys me that you, and people who act stupid like you, have to bring out the worst sides of my personality by repeating dumb behavior. It's not like you haven't been chewed out for this before and you should know better by now.

I'm far past the hug stage. :p

It's one thing if this were a first time, but this is like 3 times in a few weeks. I have no problem with people who disagree with me, but such a blatant exhibition of either stupidity or complete disrespect for the members of this board (I haven't decided which I think acetate212 is most hindered by), just pisses me off.

Maybe we'll see you tomorrow, but that's a big maybe. Any chance you guys will go to Love later if we can't make it to Brooklyn.

I'm not going to disagree with what you said groundhog, because you do have a point there, but i dont think he really cares what you think.

yeah it is annoying to have a zillion threads on here on the same couple of topics, but it is really annoying to go into a thread and see insults flung left and right because he personally bothers you. all the negativity isnt much fun to read.

if it really bothers you that much, ask kid nyce to send him a pm warning him to follow a few simple guidelines or he'll get banned. you getting all worked up at everything he posts isnt doing any good.

i saw the thread where i disagreed with you the other day that he originally posted in disappeared. as we all found out, security at armin was rediculous, so part of his question the other day about bringing stuff in was a legitimate one that you jumped all over him and me about.

there are better ways to try to get someone to do what you want them too. i'm not going to defend this guy (because i havent seen all of his posts that he has written that may have bothered you), but i have been reading this forum long enough (and posting every now and then) to know that one of the nice things about the people on here is that almost all of what you read is usually pretty positive.

yeah his multiple posts and some stupid questions are annoying, but then again so is the insults that come from you at the drop of a hat.

Who do you think told kid nyce about it when out that night and asked why it hadn't been closed already? He just hadn't seen it. I'm not kid nyce, but I'd that DELETION (when do you see deletions, not closings FFS?) was accompanied by a PM about what's appropriate. BTW, were there any good posts after I left. I responded and walked out the door to Love right after, and when I got home, it was gone. Also, kid nyce also bitched at him about the multiple posts in the "What time does Armin start?" thread. Has it done any good?

The sneaking stuff in question was stupid no matter how tight the security was there. The fact that people post dumb things like that is what adds to the 25:1 security ratio that was there on Saturday.

Yes, I'm a bastion of negativity, we're all aware of that. I'm the that doesn't have fun at every event because I go out all the time and have hundreds of events to compare every one to. Maybe I'm spoiled. I'm the guy who gets fed up with repeated stupid questions. I'm also someone who gives out a lot of info to people about track IDs (more in that section of TA than NYTA) and what parties are going on that I post up here. I also feel I give pretty fair and informed reviews of events. I'm not some fanboy who thinks every event I attend was the best ever. I give credit where credit is due, and if it's the organizers (PvD @ Central Park 2005, Armin on Saturday) or music (Tiesto @ Central Park 2004 , Donald Glaude @ Crobar in December) that ruin events, I'll say it. I also, believe it or not, have a lot of good reviews of parties. See my reviews of A&B @ Spirit (a venue I hate) in April, Quivver @ Love, Hyper @ Sullivan Room, Sasha @ Cielo, etc. I'm even less critical of Crobar events than most people on here.

Yeah, sorry about that, but besides making me the mod (something 85% at least wouldn't support), what would you suggest?

Konijn
while emminently adequate, serge is the personification of mediocrity; there is absolutely nothing unique about his programming, mixing, playlists or vibe, yet through dint of luck and connections he has insinuated himself into the upper echelons of his profession.

fair play to him.

hey there, groundhog boy-need a hug, some prozac there pal?

seems like you're doing a lot of typing and spiking your blood pressure on account of a guy you don't even know. keep doing it, it's really amusing to watch idiots at work

what a joke! :stongue:
