| mark hunt would destroy Tim Sylvia. Hunt is a world class striker with good ground control. Sylvia is just a dumb, overated, pompous ogre. |

| yea I always think he is a tool, and then he schools a good fighter and surprises me. He is good and I wonder how he will fair against the other finalist in the open weight going on right now. |

| I was excited when I heard this. I think Silva will demolish Liddell in the first round. After seeing Silva knock out the Ironhead Fujuita in the 2nd round of the Pride tournament, Liddell will be nothing for him. Silva will eat him alive. |

| From what i hear from Tito he thinks Chuck Liddell has a great chance beating Wanderlei Syliva, because most of his opponents has been with Japanese fighters who r not to good. |

yea japanese fighters like rampage jackson, mark hunt, and ricardo arona. hehe, tito talks some crazy talk sometimes.
but yea, silva didn't fair too well against hunt and arona. |

agreed on Hunt...but Wandi is definitely the real deal...his KO of Rampage was by far the most vicious KO I've ever seen.
If you look at his record, you will also notice that Silva hasn't been TKO/KO'd since Belfort in late '98. ALL of his loses since then were by decision...and I really can't see a fight with Chuck going the distance. So is Chuck better than ALL of those fighters he's faced in the last 7+ years? I don't think so ;)
I still don't think he'll 'destroy' Chuck...should be a good match...but Silva *should* win. |

spot on, the more I talk about it the more I think it will be amazing. Chuck has a LOT of power behind his punches, but I think he is kinda slow. Wandy has a lotta power and stamina, and is very fast, but his punching is kinda so so. I can see chuck landing a good counter and knocking him senseless. I can also see wandy overwhelming chuck and knocking him out or submitting him.
as far as betting goes, if wandy is + anything my money is on him. |
