| I heard a rumor that Andre Arvloski got injured in second round with an ankle injury and got an Mri on his right leg. |

^^^ true...his leg and ankle were apparently super swollen and he was going for an MRI...medical suspension from the athletic commission until september (this is normal when fighters are examined and found to be injured...just means they won't sanction a fight for him until then)
the fight I *really* want to see is Anderson Silva and Rich Franklin.
The final pairings in Pride's OWGP were confirmed too:
Wanderlei vs. CroCop
Nogueira vs. Barnett
semi-final winners fight each other in the final on the same night with the winner likely getting a shot at Fedor on NYE. crazy.
I think this is in Sept? So Wandi could theoretically have to beat CroCop and another fighter in one night...then fight Chuck within a month or two...and then Fedor on NYE :wtf: |

wow
just wow.
that is going to be amazing. I think wandy can formulate a way to beat crocop but its not easy.
and he has tons o timew to rest for a fight in nov..its just if he wins and has to fight fedor NYE...no way.
and those rankings are based on votes from turds. they arent real. |

Obvousily
I wont mind who fights Fedor, both are very classy guys. After Crocop
beat the out Hidehiko Yoshida he help him off the ring which was really nice to see.
But there is no way anyone can beat Fedor. |

who gives a about all of this...
the fight of the year will be St-Pierre and Hughes.
No silly mistakes by St-Pierre this time.
Hughes has the strength advantage, but not my much.
St-Pierre is a better striker.
His ground control is as good as anyone out there(what other fighters can give up their backs like he does and defend from there almost as if he was in full guard.)
The belt is coming home to Canuckistan. |

well good luck, he barely eeked out a decision against bj penn, so it doesn't look promising. |
