I'm amazed that crazy ****** lasted this long... RIP to the man who's music was the soundtrack for the 2 years of my life I spent dosed out of my mind...

We'll miss you Sid... :(

"Bike" by Syd Barrett

I've got a bike. You can ride it if you like.
It's got a basket, a bell that rings and
Things to make it look good.
I'd give it to you if I could, but I borrowed it.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I've got a cloak. It's a bit of a joke.
There's a tear up the front. It's red and black.
I've had it for months.
If you think it could look good, then I guess it should.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I know a mouse, and he hasn't got a house.
I don't know why. I call him Gerald.
He's getting rather old, but he's a good mouse.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I've got a clan of gingerbread men.
Here a man, there a man, lots of gingerbread men.
Take a couple if you wish. They're on the dish.

You're the kind of girl that fits in with my world.
I'll give you anything, ev'rything if you want things.

I know a room of musical tunes.
Some rhyme, some ching. Most of them are clockwork.
Let's go into the other room and make them work.

Today is a sad day, last time I saw pink floyd was in 1993, what an amazing concert :(

Updated the first post with a pic and the lyrics to "Bike"

Today is going to be an all Pink Floyd kind of day for RJT...

I'm such a fanboy... I always get a lil' emo when one of my favorite musicians/crackheads passes on from this world to the next.

The only Floyd ablums that I have that he was involved in creating is Piper at the Gates, but there are some great tracks in there. For me, not as enjoyable as some of the latter stuff

I hope my Pulse DVD comes in the mail today. There are tracks on that were created while he was with them and Shine on Your Crazy Diamond is a tribute to him.

I've been waiting since I was a little kid to see the version of DSOTM performed on Pulse in some sort of video form :)

My tracking # from Amazon says it'll be here tomorrow, which is cool since I ordered it last night at like midnight.

I saw the VHS back in college and it's really enjoyable. It amazes me it took this long to make it out on DVD.

Are you seeing Roger Waters at the end of the summer? He's playing the entire thing, too. My girlfriend and I have tickets to both Madison Square Garden shows, but we'll probably get rid of one pair and only go on one night.
Lephaid
lame.

but he pretty much died 20 years ago anyway.
