10:40 pm DOCUMENTARY SERIES - ANATOMY FOR BEGINNERS - Movement
This four-part series profiles Professor Gunther von Hagens' work that is considered by many to be shocking and controversial. However, anatomist Gunther von Hagens believes that the dissections he performs on real human bodies, lays bare the intricacy of the human design. During each episode, von Hagens carries out a human dissection and focuses on a different set of anatomical systems: movement, circulation, digestion and reproduction. In the first episode, anatomist Gunther von Hagens dissects, in front of an audience, a man to explain how the human body moves. After the cadavers' skin is removed, von Hagens demonstrates to the audience how the body operates in great detail. (From the UK, in English) (Part 1) *New Series* WS MA (A,N)

I watched a similar series last year for Physiology and Anatomy.. and I've seen two done live in high school :)

If you can handle this I suggest you take a peek.. it's just simply amazing, especially how cleverly everything is arranged inside the body, and how much stuff actually fits inside :eyespop:

What I can't watch is surgery or operations perfomed on living people (like that RPA show or whatever it is) with blood still flowing etc (props to Jolz and Paramedics) ...:nervous:

If they are dead its ok!

I can't wait to see this! :)

I'm pretty sure that I read an article in the paper a while ago that said that this guy's exhibition with cadavers in different poses will be coming to Australia. Stay tuned :)
