any tracklisting for BT and/or Tijs? Set hours? who closed the night out?
chimchim
when we got there it was some dude spinning...then bt came on id say at about 11:00 or so....wasnt relaly payin attention to the clock... then tiesto came on... i left early cause of some other people so i dunno if anyone was after him...

The party was very good. I took alot of videos that I'll convert to gif and post later on, when I recover...

bt spun a dope set, full of driving house and trance. he dropped the remix of "smells like teen spirit" that he's been caning, along with brand new edits of "dreaming," "force of gravity," and the mark norman remix of somnabulist. highllight was new mix of "flaming june" :eyes: . finished his set with "love comes again."

tiesto came on at 1:00 and spun 'till 4:30. first hour or so paled in comparisson to the bombs bt had been dropping, but the latter half of tiesto's set was dope.

the venue was interesting... it was obvious that a lot of money had been spent making the place dance-music appropriate, but it was still evident that they were amateurs at this sort of thing. crowd was bizarre for 21+...

good seeing roninmess again.

full and ordered tracklist in a day or two

:)

lol, nick... robin sent me like 20 txts about random tunes through the night, and one about Tijs cutting him off... you know anything about that? :haha:

BT stole the night hands down, he was on top of his game, really working the crowd and playing some newer stuff along with his well known tracks, the venue was great, a concert hall, but the djs were real high up (superstar Tiesto must have loved that), Tiesto had a hard time following BT, the crowd was ready for him, all psyched up, but he could not deliver. He played alot of tech-trance, no real flow mixing or track selection. He finally picked it up when he played Lethal Industry and then the "Pirates" remix, played really hard, but not like Sander Van doorn or Woods hard, just loud thumping bass, at points it was real good, other timnes it seemed to be filler, even he did not seem into at times. Crowd was, nice, lots of hot girls, euro-trash, Guidos, asians, and juiceheads, Actually believe or not juiceheads seemed to be most into the show, dancing hard and staying along for the whole ride. Ok hold on to your chair for this one, Tiesto will be playing Abyss in september, not surprising for some of you, but I was shocked. Anyway great night because of crowd and venue, but Tiesto the man who brought me over from house into trance has fallen below Armin, among others and After driving to Boston and now AC I dont think Ill go out of my way to see him unless he plays outdoors. It seems strange that all the sets i download that Tiesto does in Europe I love, but when he's here in the states it seems to be a different DJ

good times indeed. Crowd was unusual to say the least, but everyone seemed into it. Nice catching up to Konijn at the end of the night. and Sam, I told you how he walked from one room to the other prior to him going on, thats how he cut me off haha. It's all good though ahahah.

(kinda off topic but...) Went to a club after Tiesto around 5am and stayed...actually im going to rephrase that, basically ran out around 9am :nervous: Has neone ever heard of/ been to "Club Tru" in A.C. (its an old movie theatre about a block off the boardwalk near the shopping outlets) If so, i would be more than curious to hear any feedback... -thx

I have a lot of friends that go there after the clubs close in philly, I know a bunch of djs who have played there too. I've never been though. Why did you run out after 4 hours? I've heard it can be a scary sight, but what do you expect at that time of day?
