not everyone is going to like what you do, if you are going to lose it on everyone that doesnt like something you've done you'll go mad, i would rather find out why and in UMM's case it ended up totally diff than it started, and now i get some free shots hahahah

:P

ive been doing this a while, i'll leave the needless arguments to others.

i love getting feedback good and bad so...

take care guys im off for lunch, montreal is like 30 degrees today and im indoors?

It was a pretty decent EM, though some of the songs I'll admit I felt were a bit "played out" for my taste, like those D-Nox tracks. But I guess they hadn't been featured in an EM and many people haven't had the pleasure of hearing them, but either way I usually feel that an EM is the spotlight. The time in which a dj brings out all the new and unheard stuff from their crates so that everyone is surprised by brand new they've never heard before. That to me is what makes EM's the most exciting for me.

But good music is good music, and for those who haven't heard of D-Nox & Beckers, you now know to go out and check out their . Max, your tunes were pretty dern decent. The only other fault I had was that it was a bit too electro tech housey for me, which I feel is on the way out and I'm glad that that's the case.

Still, good flow, mostly good tunes, top mixing, can't really fault that, can we?

Well none of it was played out to me, because I've been out of the loop for a couple months with other life business. I would consider myself someone who usually keeps up with the scene, so this was a welcome and enjoyed set! Not everyone is always on top of the newest pressing, especially the general audience of Radio 1, so I think this was great in the context of an Essential Mix.

i initially thought the same thing ("why is he playing that?!") when i saw that Nic Fanciulli dropped D-Nox & Beckers - Jet Lag Slave in his EM from the end of April this year... but it sounded great harmonically and fit the progression of the set quite well.

the way i see it, as long as the track works in the context of the set, it doesn't matter how new or old it is as long as it sounds good! plus sometimes it's nice to hear older songs in a newer context.

i haven't heard this EM yet but i'm looking forward to hearing it!
