| there were some points brought up that ive been feeling for awhile. stop with all the stupid friendlies against jamaica, honduras, guatemala, etc and get some real teams. i dont youth clubs would really catch on here because there would be some problems if the players decided they wanted to go to college and play there. the NCAA can be kind of weird on their rulings. i agree with you about playing more games outside of LA. i think the training facility is located there and there's nice weather and all but they tend to neglect other places when it comes to scheduling the national team games. they seem to choose Ohio a lot too. i think some things are going to change now that Sunil is the new head of the federation. the top of his list of things to do is get a new coach and then go from there. |

I would love to see the football get regulated a little better here and become something worth talking about. I was talking to one of my co-workers and she said that she can't understand how people can watch baseball and think it's the most entertaining thing on Earth, then say soccer is boring :wtf:
Anyway, I find it interesting that there are ALOT of soccer fans here at work (FOX Networks). My boss has a German national team scarf/banner thing on her door. Pretty cool :p |
