9/11
9/11 – what it means to me…
Five years ago to this day
Many Heroes unexpectedly parted their ways.
Through the rumble, terror and destruction
Where there were once were twin towers
Now we will forever lay flowers.
We were all witnesses to the terror in the air that day.
This is written in remembrance for all those we lost,
It's now a place where some still hold their fingers crossed.
Wishing they could have found there loved ones,
Around the world today we will hear the silence of guns.
We shall all hold our head down in peace,
There was stillness in those moments that will last forever.
Today, all day, everyday we will remember the thousands that were lost,
Here, there and over seas still fighting for freedom
Is continuing world peace just some thing just for imagination?
Keep your fingers crossed that the moment isn't lost.

the number increases every day,
... but nobody cares for the children.
only for the soldiers they pray.

You ing bellend. While you run around screaming about our right to own firearms, the government has quietly been putting fear back into our lives. Its called the homeland security threat level. I suppose you think guns will protect you against terrorists aswell? :stongue:
I'm sure a bunch of randoms with handguns and the odd sawed-off will be able to fend off the United States Army. :stongue: . :haha: |
meh, works pretty well in iraq |

Well if you're going by his clouded logic and thinking the entire population outside of the army going against the army, we might stand a fair chance. But there's so many nitpicky details contained therein and the argument is stupid in it of itself that it's moot to debate the dynamics. |

exaaaaactly. Though we could wipe them off the face of the earth with our army; we just find it morally irreprehensible. And the consequences would be astronomical. |

Why don't you take a minute to think about the probability of that happening. Surely the next terrorists to attack our country will make sure to stop by your house first for a little AK-47 battle. :stongue:

I'm sure if all those children had been given Colt .45s they would have been saved. Brilliant idea.
Oh btw,
| quote: | well there was an issue going to the NO disaster, the constitution of the US was violated:
"No soldier shall, ."in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law when the disaster happened in New Orleans we werent in war and the govt did not go to a court to obtain permission so soldiers could go into peoples houses, but its still was done but to save lives, trying to get the people trapped out!
But again the constitution was violated, and the govt never got the right permission to go into the houses, because they acted immediately! |
Do you know what quartered means? It means housed. I.E. no soldiers can use your residence as their own, to set up camp, without consent of the owner. The constitution was not violated by troops entering houses on rescue missions.
 |
