Yes, Serato does let you do this.

Yes you can. You can do it with the Pioneer CDJs or with the new Pioneer DJM800 mixer. |

Yeah that makes little sense... this provides more tools to the DJ and doesn't make it any easier... if anything it's more difficult.

Torq + Conectiv looks pretty sweet.
The fact that they integrated Ableton Live is what really does it for me. It means you can easily go from Live PA to DJ Mixing to sick Live Mash Ups in a snap.
This definitely opens up a new chapter in DJing. Its only a matter of time till the other companies reproduce similar features as Conectiv... but most likely when they do, they'll top them off in the process with something new. Competition = better quality products.
Oh, and the price is amazing. The combo of Rewire and the lower price makes my decision of choosing a digital platform a lot easier. |
