Gatecrasher and Tunnel Trance Force series are similar in that both are packed to the maximum with with 36-40 tracks spread over 2 CD's, and mixed.
Which one do you like better, and why?
Personally, I don't really like Gatecrasher but I like TTF. I've heard the Red/Wet/Black albums were Epic Trance, but then Gatecrasher started getting into Progressive Trance, and even House. TTF started out with extremely fast songs that were truly underground, but now it is becoming slower and more commercial (e.g., Castles in the Sky on #16?).
By the way, Volume 20 of Tunnel Trance Force came out today. I started a thread about this in the CD Reviews forum. |

| i liked the earlier tunnel trance forces, after about, hmm maybe 10 or 11, they started getting slower and more commercial, that is why i dont even bother to download or listen to them anymore, gatecrasher is pretty good as well, but how can you compare them, when tunnle trance force is supposed to be hard trance while gatecrasher is something else, not to mention the fact that there are liek 27 tunnel trance force cds out (including the original 7 single cds) and like only 7 or something gatecrasher out |

| The Gatecrasher compilations used to suck but are getting better and better. TTF used to be awesome but they are getting crappier and crappier. Right now I would have to say GC is better solely based on their last release. |

| Okay, then let's consider some other "maxximum-overdrive-traxx" compilations like Ministry of Sound releases. What do you think of those? |

as liquidxxd said.. you simply cannot compare the two
more of a comparison would be - GC or Godskitchen / GC or Slinky etc |

| TTF would have won hands down on numbers 7-14 but its a bit closer now, though I'd still go for TTF on the merits of those mentioned cause they really did rock, theres more energy in them for me too than GC but I dont think they're 2 cd's u can compare easily |

I used to buy Ministry comps. The last one I bought was last years annual. I will no longer buy Ministry! I feel like they've deserted their roots and gone off to service the pop market.
Another thing. Riva's Stringer is my all time fave song but it was on three ministry comps last year. Why? If i'd bought any i'd have demanded my money back!
Last years Ibiza annual completely destroyed any remaining faith I had in Ministry as credible compilation creators of dance. |
