I guess I never truly appreciated EDM for a very very very very long time until that first hit ..... oh wait I never did any so that means I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS SO OMFG FUN-TASTIC ABOUT EDM!

^ I definately do NOT do that. I would never bug my friends into liking trance. Thats just stupid and kinda sad. I hardly ask my mates to come to trance nights cuz I know they won't really appreciate it.
I guess I shouldn't have said... "Whenever I try to get them into it"... in my intial post.
What I meant by that was... whenever I try to explain to them what kinda music I like. They know that I like 'dancey' kinda music, but they don't quite know exactly what kinda 'dancey' music I like. Most of my mates are clueless when it comes to dance music.
They ask me... "Do you like DJ Sammy kinda stuff"... and I'm like... "No!"
Then they say... "Do you like Prodigy kinda stuff"... and I'm like... "No, not that kinda dance!"
Then they say... "Do you like Roger Sanchez kinda music"... and I'm like... "er, kinda, but a bit more better than that".
So then I have to play a bit of trance so they'll understand the kinda music I like.
Btw, I do like R&B and Hip Hop music. I've had loadsa great nights at R&B Hip Hop nights. Like I said I appreciate all music! :) |
