I'm sick of hearing all the haters bash Tiesto. He destroyed that place on Friday. PVD aside, it was the best set I've ever seen. The tracks I can remember off the top of my head..
Fonzerelli- Moonlight Party
William Orbit- Adagio for Strings(Tiesto Mix)
Karen Overton- Your Loving Arms(Club Mix)

Its not the best description of the track... I could think of better parts to 'singalong' but i think you should check out 'Cicada - The Things You Say (Dirty South Remix)' it kind of has that vocal line in.
p.s. how long was Tiesto's set? |

The only thing I dock him on is that he's always been hit or miss. He was dissappointing both times I saw him in San Antonio and at Ultra in 2005, but at Riches - Houston in 2003 and Club Space - Miami for WMC 2005 he destroyed the place.
I don't really care to go to shows 'hoping' the headliner in question will blow it up. I prefer the ones where not only do I know the artist will tear it up, but also exceed my expectations.

Unfortunately his set was only about 2 hours, only bad thing about the night. |

I clocked him at just over two hours. I think Kenneth hopped off at about 2345, and Tiesto went until almost 0200. |

heres my take of the entire trip to the tiesto show
there i am sitting in en traffic in hick ville going to austin. im riding with sean and hes showin me all his new promo songs and i was astonished and re enlightened.
so traffic is backed up for OVER 2 MILES NO JOKE !!! so we knew we were gonna arrive late... we take a dirt road off the high way and take the feeder. that saved us some time...
anyways we arrive 45 minutes late sean grabs his records and chats it up wit jo jo and then i get my BACK STAGE pass and so does sean and i go do the parking job.
so i park n i make my way to the club... long effin line man... lucky for me im backstage !!! hah !!
so i go in and the first song i hear is the song sean showed me... WEIRD SCIENCE BY JOHN DIGWEED. That isnt even out yet. i see ppl groovin and theres an assload of ppl in there and its barely 9 pm.
so 2 redbulls later and after discovering the place i finally go back stage. and thats around the time seans finishing his set. his 2nd to last song was ing rockin !!! ( attention defecit - what (gabriel batz remix))
man he threw down a bad ass set of soem oldschool (which some of the old school edm fans appreciated, i was very surprised to see the old timers !) and some new stuff which was appreciated by every one.
then kenneth gets on and does what he does best. i recognized that he played ' robot ' by audiojack. (finally got to meet him too)
next up comes tiesto. he tears it up. he played lethal industry which every1 loovoed and screamed for !!! i did too... but i expected that...then me n sean leave since we just werent feeling too trancey that night.
btw i shook tiestos hand. for all those tiesto worshipers... ENVY MEE !!
hah but yea man, ive never really seen either of the 3 djs actually play a set but every1 did awesome. especially my boy sean representing 77002.com wreckin it proper !!! |

| I thought that might have been you backstage when Sean was on the decks, but without that blue shirt and tie combo, I wasn't certain, so I didn't say anything. Now I know better. :o |

yeh i was wearing glasses... man it was fun tho. i remember sean called me on stage just to hang out there behind this speaker. n i was like " kay..."
so i goes up on stage n sit there n have nothing to do but to stare at the crowd and watch sean ... so i felt a bit silly being there and just lookin like a dork ... so i got on my sidekick and made it look like i was doing something... i was really just playing tetris... didnt get a high score ... double the shame... |
