No he's right.... if you inject a cow with 10,000 times the standard human dose every day for several months they do develop holes in their brain (so a study found). So let this be a lesson to everyone using E.... DO NOT MELT DOWN 10,000 PILLS AND MAIN-LINE THEM! Especially if you happen to be a cow. |

seriously some of you people in this thread dont know ...... general rule of thumb when it comes to contraband research, American studies are heavily biased, as the only way the will recieve gov funding is if the results say its bad.
second rule of thumb, no one study is correct unless its findings can be replicated by a second group of scientists, and to teh best of my knowledge, even the german study (which i find to be the most reputable personally) hasnt been re produced yet. the only thing i can say for 100% certain is any of the studies that show holes in teh brain, permanent seratonin site destruction or that E causes parkisons disease are 100% false and have been proven so by more than one reasearch team. hence my YAY NIDA comment.
The german findings clearly state that from their research they found that even in heavy users, they exhibited about a 8% decrease in seratonin activity (compared to the 80% that the nida study claimed), furthermore they stated that after 6 months of abstention from E use, the levels in teh test subjects returned to normal. however they stress that they still do not know the long term (10 yrs + downt he road) effects of E use, and probably wont until the 80's generation starts hitting their 30's and 40's. The german study was the only one who used hair testing to identify which drugs their subjects were using.
now onto the coke thing madamoiselle...
i went on a bender last firday night, went through 2 grams..... didnt pay for it thank god.... but i can see why people do so much of it. and the high is fun, but ive had better. its kind of over rated for what you pay / how much you do. if i did half as much mdma as i did coke that night, i would have been 1000000 times more high. and when we ran out of coke early sat mornign, i was pissed off at the world for hours.....
conclusion.... ill stick to my E thank you very much..... but it was fun to try. |

I believe that the majority of reasonable, intelligent individuals, after having thoroughly researched the effects, pros, cons, and so on, of MDMA will conclude that it is a relatively safe drug that can provide very enjoyable experiences when used responsibly.
Only take substances from people you trust, drink an adequate amount of water while using MDMA, do not take too many pills in a given night, do not take the drug too often, i.e. allow plenty of time between rolling, etc. |

It is not the MDMA that can cause fatality; rather it is the other chemicals that ecstasy pills are pressed with that can be quite dangerous.
This is not to say that taking a huge amount of MDMA will not mess someone up for a good number of hours. |

every illegal drug you take (and even prescriptions if you want to get all technical) is dangerous....no matter what. no matter if u have a dumb little test kit and drink water and bla bla bla...
it's a risk that all drug users take to get a high and to have a good time supposedly. and to me, if you are willing to take that risk and risk your life, then you aren't that responsible or smart. i'm not saying you're stupid though...no offense, i know i seem like a big hipocrite here, but that's why i dont like to do drugs any more.
there's only so much you can do to prevent ODing or even dying...but like i said, there's risk involved every single time you do drugs. i'm not excluding alcohol either. |
