But really, Nu Nrg are extremely good, so they kinda highlight Italy a bit (For anyone who knows of alot more italian trance producers, don't jump at me please, I don't really know about the italian scene.).

And I agree with Rebel9 too, there are alot of talented producers up here in Scandinavia and in mid-europe, as well as in America.

there used to be mauro picotto, mario piu etc flying the italian flag

Germany :)

i think overall EDM has peaked in some European countries and is dwindling some other countries. I doubt if the scene is actively growing in any country. If you wana pick a current center, then I'd go for either Germany or Holland. But the efforts to bring EDM to USA/Canada may pay off and the center might shift westwards

i think most woudl say germany/holland.. although it's a good point that holland is more of an attitude of being the center of trance. There's no doubt that there are plenty of big events being held there.

@ Zoric, okej, jag misstänkte nästan det, för på hans sida länkade han till nån tysk sida.

thera are some good producers italians, but they produce only for the foreign countries. for example, giuseppe ottaiviani works in germany with paul van dyk.

in italy trance music isn't known by the people, and there are no events about it

only m2o (www.m2o.it) broadcast a bit of trance every day

funny that each time Italy is mentioned the only producers people seem to know is Nu Nrg and Picotto.
I challenge you to come forward with other italian trance producers :P

EDM scene is quite popular and growing in Latin America, Asia, Middle East. However each scene is different to one another. For example El Salvador might have cheesy trance and on the other hand say Minimal Techno.

berlin seems to be the place to be

I was in Berlin these last weeks, and Berlin is the place to be for electro and minimal, defently not for trance.
