ok so I went, I live in Scarborough and there was no way that i was not going to at least try to find this place. Needless to say tatgirls directions were dead on, but it is still very hard to find.
You have to look beyond the redbrick wall and you will see what appears to be a balcony in a very western style. Its weird. Alright so once there you have to actually cut through an insane amount of overgrowth and vegetation in order to get through to the back where it all is. But before you do, there is a massive "no trespassing" sign that isnt one of the usual generic ones this one is massive and is intended to keep people off the property.
Ok once we got passed the vegatation and the prickly plants you could see this place, we walked in through an alleyway and finally arrived on the street...seriously it is ing crazy, very surreal when you are in the middle of the street in the middle of a Scarborough in town you never knew existed. There is alot of damage there and the place is creepy.
After being there for all of I dunno 2 minutes, I see this guy comming towards me...fast. Not only was this guy the security, but he was ING ODD, he had no emotion, no sense of humour and I beleive he was running on batteries....he litterally started repeating "YOOOOOUUUUU are TRESSSSSSSSSPASSSSING, LEAVE THESE PREMISSSSSES IIIIIIIIMEEDIATLYYYYYY!!!!". he was weird, he just kept saying that as he escorted us out. So if you get there and there is an Emerald Security car, just wait...cause he is there.
Anyways You should check the place out, what I saw was crazy. Enter in through the vegetation side on the left. It is on 66 HYMUS rd, just off Warden between Eglinton and St. Clair. |

| thanks for the update. very interesting to hear about an abandoned place like this. i'm looking at google maps. 66 hymus would be basically right on the corner or warden and hymus. i'm looking at the satellite on google, but i'm having trouble seeing what exactly it'd be. i thought i had it, but its surrounded by a parking lot and cars are there, so i'm assuming its something else. |

Hymus is a very short street, with a round dead end, so you havent really too many options to get lost. But actually seeing the right building is a litte more difficult, look for a red brick building and just figure out how to walk behind it.
well worth the trip. |
