James Holden is the best thing that has happened to this scene in years!
If he made Shallow, Mc, fluffy, hands in the air, 'MattDarey', accessible, trance he would probably like James Holdens music ;)
But James Holden does not give a fu*k wether his music is too weird too appeal to 'Shallow commercial, Matt Darey trance' listening idiots. ;)
James Holden will enjoy critical success for years to come because he makes Electronic music that will stand the test off time!
Some peoples projects are music driven 100% and some people projects are money driven 100%!
Some put out real music and others hire some engineer to put out your average disposable bargain bin junk compilation that pays their mortgage!

Sorry but I, like everybody else, have an opinion.
Of course I can express my opinion and you can do the same... that is what discussion is all about...
There are djs and producers who base their success on talent, for ex.:
And next to them then there is garbage.
Sadly there is way too way too much shiny, hi-profile garbage.
I see people getting payed a fortune to play other peoples music badly.
Can't you folks tell the difference?
