For those who are going:

Paul van Dyk is very sorry to announce that he is unable to play Global Gathering today

"Due to serious illness in my family I won't be able to attend Global Gathering, as I need to be at their side. I'm really sorry that I have to do this, but I hope that everyone can understand that family and loved ones are the most important things in life. I will offer a Club Gig as a replacement as soon as possible - due to the long booking arrangements, it is likely to be November. I wish you a fantastic festival and hope you accept my apologies" - Paul van Dyk

i was pretty impressed with the clubbers in the Godskitchen Arena who applaudded PVD in support after realising towards the end of For an Angel that he wasn't going to be playing.

PvD took this gig down of his gigs page weeks back - it's obvious GKGG have know for some time he was going to be a no show. But only on the day did they let the clubbers know this.

Can't risk the sales going down. Cunts.

yep they always do that tho promise everything but not always delivering all the attractions they say. You should be able to sue Godskitchen under the Trade Descriptions Act would be funny if someone did.

One of my mates decided to have a bungee jump for £35 and spoke to the owner of it. Owner said he wouldn't break even as the site fee was over £30000! There were loads of stalls and funfairs so GK must make an absolute mint on just the rides and stalls alone paying site fees.

Really? Then why didn't they get a replacement dj to headline his time slot? rather than hear a cd being played to us
