??

his slot was reaplaced by armin playing an extra half hour then eddie moving forward to play the remaining hour & a half. eddie's slot was then filled in by jules playing a 2nd set

yeah i know

but i would much have preferred it if they had put a replacement dj there instead of having the others cover for each other.

if i'm not mistaken when armin ended his set and pvd was supposed to come on, they played a cd version of For an Angel and eddie only came on a while later.

by then alot of us were leaving the dancefloor to the back of the tent to rest

if eddie or any other dj had taken over immediately from armin, it just would have been better. my 2 cents:toocool:

i thought he did! mind i was pretty battered by that point and didn't have my eye on the stage much of the time :p
godfarter
haha ok then.

anyway i just looked thru the videos i took. armin played shivers at the end of the set and then the stage went dark (with only the video screens on) and then one song was played (its title escapes me) followed by For an Angel when the whole floor erupted

but even then the stage was still dark. oh well doesn't matter now i suppose.

but i was quite looking fwd to seeing PVD (although i love eddie too) because i have not seen him in a while.:sadgreen:

it would of been hard to book a replacement dj the same day they might have tried but couldnt get anyone.

sleepydragon: according to DJ Mikey Mike in an earlier post in this thread....

PvD took this gig down of his gigs page weeks back - it's obvious GKGG have know for some time he was going to be a no show. But only on the day did they let the clubbers know this.

so if that were true i think Godskitchen organisers had some time before hand to engage someone else. even if it weren't a big name dj, im sure the punters would be just as supportive rather than let it go as it did on saturday.

I was free that night - hell i would have played for £0 instead of £25,000 :)

seems weird that the gig was removed so many weeks ago but yet only two gigs were cancelled (the fri in Barcelone and sat at GKGG). Someting doesnt quite add up.

PvD at Gods could be worth the trip tho

PvD at Global Gathering is always .
PvD at Godskitchen Air is always good.

Everyone's a winner here whether you went to GKGG or not.

disagree, 2005 the first hour was the gods bollocks, real shame the EM was the second hour.
