I was in Toronto this past weekend for a wedding and checked out the Toronto zoo for the first time since I was a kid.. my sister was with me and snapped a bunch of neat pics! Thought I would share some here. :)
despite being rained on.. it was a nice way to spend 5 hours.. hehe
This guy was cute.. there was also a little baby born there a few months ago.. still looked soooo tiny! The trainer said they don't grow very quickly.
You can walk right in with these kangaroos!! one of the best parts of the day.. they are so cute :)
she has a daily photo blog that has a number of great pics.. from animals to architecture or various DJs..

| The best thing I've ever seen at the zoo was years ago at the lion pen, where in front of the pen was about 100 5-8 year old kids on a school trip. A male lion gets up, turns around so his ass faces the crowd, and just takes a furious all over the place. It was glorious. |

these weren't from the toronto zoo, but still animal related.. my sister took these ones at this place called Parc Omega here in Quebec a few months ago.. the bear one in particular is especially cute!
