TOOK TIME!!!!! Why? When all you have to do is to bring your own equipment and fix someone's table to play at Spundae. Playing there used to mean a lot but now a days the line-ups are becoming more of a joke. |

What exactly do you mean by posting this? All of those DJs you see have paid their dues in the scene. For example,
Jonathan Morning has been playing in the rave scene for the past 12 years and has a lot of production under his belt.
ISS has been in the scene since 1989, enough said.
Brian Bartel just had his track released on Bonzai Records. Not mentioning the fact that he's been spinning for over 5 years.
LRCN is the only dj that kicked all of your asses on the dj list and he did almost all from his bedroom. Not to mention he has a pretty successful radio show.
As for me just because you've only just heard of me doesn't mean I didn't pay my dues. I've been doing this for over 4 years and just recently I came out public stating that I'm a dj after I got practice and experience.
Sorry I didn't know you were such a veteran, how long have you been doing this?? |

I never knew thats all you had to do to play at Spundae. I guess i could have played there years ago if i did just that. If it wasn't for Spundae, i don't think a lot of of you including myself would have the opportunity to play with a great organization. Most of us would be playing with ourselves in our bedrooms. To say that it is so easy to get in there is a joke. I know i can speak for alot of the local djs that play there and they have worked very hard to get where they are. Kristina Sky, Fei Fei, Victor Dinaire, Bob M etc...
This thread is absolutely ridiculous. I don't see what the point is here with everyone flexing there dicks for. Who's paid their dues, how long have they been doing this & there rankings on the dj list. Everyone knows how hard people work to further themselves. There is no need to call anyone out or ask them how long they been doing this. If you don't want to play then don't because theres a 100 others in line that would like to. |
