I went for the extended set on this one. At first I thought I was going to get anxious because it was two hours and that's not typical of you. But man, nicely done. I quickly forgot about the duration of the set and just focused on enjoying the mix, which is what I should've thought of before beginning listening to it.

Anyway, there are some tracks that caught my attention, Magma, Dream On and Medellin being three of them.

Nice mix. As always, thanks for the share.

awesome, thanks. Denuo is one of my favs as well. Yes, yes, yes on that first track!

heh, thanks. you have a listen yet? would like to hear your thoughts on the house aspects. i dabble in house a lot but i consider myself a trance dj. my sets are talored for those that love trance. i do love myself some house every now and then but when it comes down to it. trance is in my blood.

so i hope you, being one whos loves mostly trance (i'm assuming), finds this set enjoyable. being injected with house tracks and all. :p

your very talented metatron, i don't think there's a mix that i didn't enjoy, keep up the great work, full review coming soon.

Awesome thanks. :D great to hear from you again. It was a bit of a different result this time but not sure why you'd get anxious about it. Didn't think I could hack it?:p

Cheers and hope to hear from you again.

Music/Track Selection: N/A
After looking at the tracklist I knew I was in for something different and house oriented. Unfortunately, the house featured here as in many other sets is not what I’m into nowadays, hence the reason for sidestepping on the track selection rating. I will say this, though, and that is your ability to learn your tracks’ characteristics very fast. For me it takes me a while to learn a tracks’ ups and downs and where they break and so forth. This skill you have, which allows you to build a set without much difficulty, is what I like about your mixes. They flow superbly regardless of genre (prog. trance, tech-trance, and now this). Overall thanks again for a great set!

Thanks Stevieboy. That is a really great comment. I think my favorite part of mixing is learning the tracks dynamics and playing off that and using it to catapult a mix. It's difficult but it's such a brilliant thing when done right imo. Non of the tracks did it for you?!? Damn shame. Well maybe next time. Looking forward to hearing your next venture. Thanks again. :)

Yes! That's exactly what I meant. I'm glad you understand.

man this is sick! do you know why I didn't reply sooner? because I kept rewinding the set and could never get to the end :D Srsly, so many good tracks, new to me... You say you go through so many genres... but I can sense YOUR style throughout the mix :) If somebody brought me 3 progressive trance sets (yours and two random), I would always guess which one is yours ;)
I must say I totally agree with what DJ RJT wrote on the top of second page. Pace and flow is flawless.

Tracks that were new to me and made me rewinding
1.Ellen Allien & Apparat - Rotary
6.John Digweed - Warung Beach (Mashtronic's White Sands Remix)
8.Seroya - Beautiful (Noel Sanger Mix) (loving the guitar on 42:30  )
9.Shiloh - Dream On (Luke Chable Remix)
10.Corydalics - Along Overmind (Sied van Riels Diet Coke on the Rocks mix)
14.The Teachers - Wanna B (Ernesto vs Bastian Dub)

PS. you've got a new fan at my office :) He recently came to me praising Somber :D
