9/11 movies

So theres already been one 9/11 movie released (Anyone seen it? Post comments please)

But when i was watching a movie yesterday everyone was watching the trailers to different movies and laughing. Then the trailer for World Trade Centre came on and i thought "No, this is too soon!" at first...but by the end of the trailer it looked like a good movie. Everyone was Silent at the end of the trailer, apart from a few people (including my gf sniffeling).

What do you think?

That film looks amazing, and I do not want anyone to take that the wrong way, but it looks really good by portraying what those men saw and went through, its not a film about the terrorist attacks, more a film about the courage and selflessness those offices showed that day, and really what the whole rescue effort went through, trying to save those people.

I myself shed a few tears, as has I think everyone I know at the trailer for this film.

Nou,

You are the biggest -up ever!
Get up, go to the bathroom and look in the mirror...you have no friends, you have no girlfriend, you have no trait that is even remotely linked to a human being...
You say comments like that in the hope of getting people to like you again or think your funny...but its not going to happen. Everyone resents you, even your parents...your just a smudge in the progression of mankind...And yet i hope all your problems may continue into the future!

You have to remember that they are paid to carry out those tasks.. To call them heros (which i know you didnt, but thats what you were implying) is by no means a fair way to describe their role.

Nou... You really need some friends..

I thought the concept of this movie truly captures what it means to be american...

To cash in on other people's misfortunes as soon as humainly possible and release a hollywood blockbuster about it.

um... jdat hasn't posted in this thread yet.

Anyway, on topic:
One of the reviews I read at rottentomatoes claims you don't even realize it's an Oliver Stone picture. The reviewer said he felt like he was watching a Ron Howard movie. Which in reviewspeak is a pretty huge compliment. I haven't seen United 93 myself due to all the questions about its accuracy, but this one does look pretty interesting, I have to admit.

And Nou, yes, I agree to a point that emotions often cloud judgment and 9/11 is still an emotional minefield, but I think it's fair game to reminisce on and not forget the memory of the victims. Not for political reasons, but for personal ones.

Very good trailer. Looks well done.

Nou. Your life might be better if you respected something other than your own ty opinions.

No girlfriend? Meh, whatever, I have an issue with that. If I wanted to I could end up settling for something else

What? Anime?

Jackson, if someone walked up to me with a sign around their neck that said "use me as a punching bag" then the last thing i'd do would be to punch them.

Don't confuse a punching bag in Troll's clothing with a Troll

Nou has a string of ty things to say about 9/11 that have gone beyond the bounds of trolling or opinion. Cyrus King, douche that he is, was at least somewhat coherent in his frothing denunciations.

Nous just an idiot.
